AuctionSniper.com announced "Free Snipe Friday" taking place on July 30. All snipes placed on eBay auctions on the AuctionSniper site anytime Friday, July 30 Pacific time (only) will be free. The snipes must be entered on the site on Friday, but the auction can end on any day.

Sniping is last-minute bidding on online auction items. Because eBay puts an ending time on auctions, bidders believe they can avoid bidding wars (and higher prices) by waiting until the last few seconds of an auction to place their bids.
