Bidville announced it is changing to a more advanced, multi-tiered subcategory structure with
over 7,000 categories, and said it is making important changes to the back-end programming to improve bidding, feedback, and other process areas.
To adjust for the new categories, Bidville said it will transfer all existing item listings into the best new matching category once the changes are rolled out Wednesday. Sellers who feel their items are better reflected in another available category can edit their open auction's category using their TrackPal after August 11.
In addition, sellers will no longer need to choose bid increments. Bidville buyers will now be able to bid whatever increment they are willing to pay for an item, and the bidding system will accept the bid if it exceeds the starting price.
Bidville also announced it will introduce its new Express Loader listing tool next week, and next month it will introduce Bidville Storefronts.
