eBay Powersellers Gotham City Online and Adam Hersh Auctions have partnered on an education series called Professional E-Commerce Seminars. The two companies will jointly lecture on all aspects of managing the growth of a successful ecommerce operation, from supplies and inventory management to fulfillment and marketing. The seminars will take place at the Gotham City Loft on Broadway in downtown New York, New York, and are free to employees of non-profit organizations.

Gotham City Online is a leading online footwear merchant and Titanium Level PowerSeller on eBay. Adam Hersh Auctions started in 1998 as an online poster company, and in 1999 expanded into auction brokering, and is now a professional e-commerce educator who has lectured nationally and internationally.

Jonathan Garriss, CEO of Gotham City Online, said, "We have a great deal of supporting literature, including a DVD that is available. We will be involved in providing examples of how Gotham City has applied the techniques we are discussing."

"These seminars are an invaluable tool for any organization interested in online fundraising," said Adam Hersh, President of Adam Hersh Auctions. In the past year, Gotham City Online managed the Sex and the City auctions on eBay for HBO and advised Swarovski on their American Heart Association online auctions. Adam Hersh has worked with companies like MTV/Viacom and Big Brother/Big Sister.

The first seminar is an introduction to eBay taking place on August 25. Normally priced at $99, the class will be given for free to kick off the program.
