eBay Australia Shops May Get a New Designation
By Ina Steiner

In the U.S., they are called eBay Stores, but in Australia, they are called eBay Shops. Now eBay would like to change the designation of its storefronts in Australia to eBay Stores. According to the proposal on the eBay Australia announcement board, there are a number of reasons why they are suggesting a change, including decreasing confusion from international buyers and decreasing the amount of time the Australian product and marketing team spends translating US pages.
Users responding to the proposal on eBay's chatboard thread about the topic had mixed opinions.
