eBay Founder Ranks Second in 40 Richest Americans Under 40 List

eBay Chairman and founder Pierre Omidyar came in second on Fortune Magazine's annual list of the 40 richest Americans under the age of 40. Aged 37, Omidyar has $10.05 billion. Former eBayer Jeff Skoll came in third on the list with $4.69 billion. Skoll is 39 years old. Topping the list was Michael Dell, 39, chairman and founder of Dell Computer, with wealth of $17.95 billion. Dell has held the No. 1 spot since the list was started in 1999.
