One Two Three India.com Ltd., a portal based in India, has made an agreement with U.S. online-auction provider Bidchaser.com. Florida-based Bidchaser.com will become the exclusive provider of One Two Three India.com's upcoming online auction channel.
The online auction channel is expected to be operational by mid-October. Subscribers of One Two Three India.com and Bidchaser.com can register as merchants and start uploading their merchandise on the site. Registration and participation in the auctions will remain free until December 31 for sellers. The service will remain free of cost to the browsers and the buyers. The service will also offer a Stores feature.
Bidchaser.com has established a marketing and support office in Mumbai, India. "We are very encouraged by the vast potential that the online auction model offers in India. With One Two Three India at our side, we will build India's most vibrant and successful online marketplace," said Leonardo Cunha, president of Bidchaser.com.
