uShip Inc. announced a new security feature, the uShip Shipper Protection Program.
uShip is a marketplace connecting people with shipping needs to people who are already making the trip, including feedback-rated drivers, couriers, and movers who have excess shipping and moving capacity.
The company says its Shipper Protection Program provides community members loss reimbursement of up to $100 in cases where items are picked-up but never delivered.
President and CEO Matthew Chasen said, "The safety and security of our members' shipments is our top priority. Shipper Protection is just one of many steps to ensure that our community is the most trusted marketplace on the Internet."
