eBay is introducing eBay Sales Reports, a new subscription-based product that will provide sellers with key sales information about their eBay businesses. A free basic report, called Sales Reports, is available to sellers with a minimum feedback rating of 11 and who have listed at least one item in the previous four months. The report will include total sales, total number of listings, average sale price and total eBay and PayPal fees.

The "Sales Reports Plus" report costs $4.99/month and is available to all sellers. eBay said in addition to the information provided in the basic tier, Sales Reports Plus provides detailed item information (for example, total items listed, number of successful items, etc.); detailed eBay fees (for example, subscription fees and final value fees); sales by category (at the lowest or leaf category level); sales by listing format (for example, auctions, Fixed Price, and Store Inventory); sales by ending day, ending time, and listing duration (for auctions); and buyer counts (number of total, unique and repeat buyers).

eBay Storeowners can sign up for the Sales Reports Plus for free.

eBay is unveiling a new look for the "Email this Item to a Friend" email, and have changed the location of two links on the Item page. The "Email to a Friend" link has moved back to the top of the item page, next to the "Watch this Item" link. The "Add to Calendar" link has been moved to the bottom of the item page.
