eBay teamed with leading manufacturers to launch limited-edition products available exclusively on eBay. The eBay Exclusives 2004 Holiday Program offers items directly from manufacturers and will only be available on eBay during the current holiday season. Items include special limited editions, exclusive product sets, artist signatures and early releases in a variety of categories, including Holiday Home Decor, Collectibles and Toys, Health & Beauty products and Electronics and Watches.
One item is a Christmas ornament commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Coca-Cola Santa Claus designed by Haddon Sundblom. The item is priced at $20 and only 1,500 items will be made available. Another eBay exclusive is a $59 limited edition magic wand from Alivan's.
eBay prominently featured the exclusives program in its print catalog mailed to customers this week.
eBay initially launched the pilot exclusives program in January of this year with Goebel, Enesco, Disney and Fenton Art Glass.
