Business travelers and other hotel guests are now able to learn how to use eBay to buy and sell, from the comfort of their own hotel rooms.
LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation, a provider of interactive television systems to hotels, will offer pay-per-view, in-room video sessions of the eBay University training program in more than 250,000 guest rooms across the U.S. The new program is available to hotel guests as an in-room entertainment option, for the same price as a movie.
eBay University teaches people how to bid and buy online, and introduces them to the fundamentals of selling on eBay. The in-room video offers four segments of instruction on how to use and navigate eBay more effectively, including bidding and buying, creating a listing, enhancing listings and completing the sale.
