Reading AuctionBytes: Amazon Sellers Warned of Email Problems with AOL Buyers

Amazon warned its merchants it had problems communicating with aol.com seller customers on November 10 and 11. As a result, the "Sold-Ship-Now" notifications normally sent to sellers to inform them of orders may not have been delivered.

Amazon warned sellers to check for possible missed orders by visiting http://www.amazon.com/sya and clicking on "View your recent Marketplace orders" underneath the "Manage Your Orders" section.

The notice was posted to Amazon's Seller Announcements Board on November 18, 2004.
