Marketworks announced the launch of an email marketing solution in partnership with ExactTarget. Marketworks Mail will enable its more than 4,000 Marketworks customers to create and manage email campaigns to their opt-in subscribers.
Marketworks is an eBay Certified Solution Provider and provides an ecommerce solution that helps customers manage and automate sales activity across multiple online channels. Last year, Marketworks customers collectively sold over $265 million in merchandise and have built significant lists of opt-in email subscribers.
Marketworks said email marketing helps their customers drive repeat purchases and maximize value from customer relationships.
Marketworks chose ExactTarget for its leadership in the email solutions market, its rich functionality and tremendous ease of use.
Billy Shields of Costume Kingdom, a Marketworks customer said, "With Marketworks Mail, we were able to create and send a Halloween costume promotion to thousands of buyers in less than two hours. This will be a fantastic tool for us to increase storefront sales," says Billy Shields of Costume Kingdom.
Marketworks customers will pay a monthly fee to access the service plus a small volume-based fee for larger volumes of email.
