eBay Australia is running a buyer promotion during the holiday shopping season. Buyers who purchase an item on eBay.com.au and submit a 25-word essay on why the purchase will make this "the best Christmas ever" will be eligible to win $1,000. Items purchased between November 25 and December 15 are elible for entry. Seller must also confirm receipt of payment for items to be eligible. At the end of each week, eBay will judge all entries and award $1000 to the winner.
