IronPlanet, the third-largest construction equipment auction company in North America, announced a partnership with EquipmentTraderOnline.com. The agreement enables classified advertisers on EquipmentTraderOnline.com to easily sell their equipment in an IronPlanet auction.
The classifieds site EquipmentTraderOnline.com has over 250,000 visitors monthly conducting close to 1 million searches and over 2 million page views.
IronPlanet was founded in 1999 and has grown to be one of the biggest auction companies of used equipment and trucks for the construction and agricultural industries. Backed by Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Volvo, the company sells equipment through online auctions. The auction site says it provides detailed, guaranteed inspection reports for each piece of used equipment.
