eBay is holding several promotions this week. On eBay.com and eBay.ca (Canada), sellers get 50% off insertion fees for Fixed Price listings, and a free Buy-It-Now upgrade for auction listings. The "Sell it Now, Sell It Fast" promotion runs for one day only, Tuesday, November 30 (http://pages.ebay.com/promo/fpandbin).
eBay Motors Parts and Accessories is holding a 1-day 50-cent Insertion Fee sale on November 30. For regular auction-style and Fixed Price eBay Motors Parts and Accessories listings on the U.S. eBay Motors site, the insertion fee will be capped at $0.50 for all items with a starting price above $9.99. All insertion fees less than $0.50 will still be charged at the normal rate (http://pages.motors.ebay.com/promo/50cInsertion/113004).
eBay Canada is holding a 1-month sale on the Reserve Price upgrade for auction listings only. For the month of December, the fee for Reserve will be capped at $25.00 on the Canadian site www.ebay.ca (C$25 for listings in Canadian dollars, US$25 for listings in US$). Listings created prior to December 1, 2004 that are scheduled to start during the promotional period December 1-31, 2004 will be eligible to receive the promotional rate (http://pages.ebay.ca/promo/reserve25).
The announcement of Canada's Reserve Price sale stated that a similar promotion is being run on eBay.com ("note that start time, end time, and conditions may vary"), but no information was available on eBay.com's Announcement Board at press time.
