Reading AuctionBytes: Online Antiques Mall Reports Increase in Holiday Shopping
TIAS.com, an online antiques and collectibles mall, reported a 30 percent increase in same month sales for November 2004 vs 2003. Management attributes the dramatic increase in sales volume to holiday shoppers being much more comfortable about making online purchases. Through surveys and feedback from shoppers, the single most important issue voiced by TIAS customers over the past year has been the security of their online purchases.
