TatAD.com is a new site to bring together adverttisers with people willing to become "walking billboards." TatAD matches willing participants with corporate sponsors, who can identify each participant's demographic and psychographic sector to match their target market.
"The idea came up when I saw a guy from South Carolina auction off the back of his head on eBay for $7000 to an Internet service provider, CI Hosting," said Mark Chadwick, President of The TatAD Marketing Group Ltd. "Since then, that Company has reported 800 new signups directly related to their walking billboard, a cost of only $9 for each new account. That's serious business!"
TatAD.com has been online for 40 days and has over 500 members willing to be tattooed from all over the US, Canada and even Europe. The first member from TatAD.com, "Sprinkles," will be tattooed by Thomas Lynch Fashions at the TatAD launch party on December 11 at Au Bar Nightclub in Vancouver.
