eBay has entered into an agreement with Mobile Toys, which runs a network of car-electronic installers called InstallerNet.

Car electronics sellers who have owned an eBay Store for at least 60 days can now offer InstallCard installation cards to their buyers. eBay sellers can sell the cards on eBay separately or can include them with car electronics items. Buyers redeem the cards at any of InstallerNet's network of more than 1,500 installers.

eBay said research has shown them that concern about installation is one of the main barriers for buyers in the car electronics category, and says the partnership with InstallerNet will help buyers get their purchases installed conveniently.

InstallerNet makes its InstallCard available to independent retailers including Sears, American Satellite, Sirius Satellite Radio, uBid.com and etronics.com.

Mobile Toys is now also selling the cards directly on eBay using the ID mobiletoys-inc. InstallCards for "In-Dash Car Stereo System" are listed at $49.95.
