UK auction site eBid is readying the launch of eBid USA by offering free memberships to sellers. eBid will launch in the U.S. in the first half of January 2005. The site is offering free lifetime memberships to the first 10,000 sellers that sign up to sell on eBid (U.S. residents only). eBid offers free listings and no final value fees, and buyers will never have to pay to register.
US members will be introduced to UK members and will be able to trade with U.S. and UK members in the currency of their choice. eBid's online payment partners PPPay.com will will facilitate cross-currency transactions.
