eBay is holding a 2-day "Penny Gift Days" sale on eBay.com and eBay Motors for non-vehicle listings only. The Gift Services upgrade inserts a blue gift icon next to the listing to stand out and indicate the seller is willing to gift-wrap the item or offer express shipping, or that the seller is willing to ship directly to the recipient (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/gift_icon.html).
The promotion runs January 11 - 12, 2005. All other fees apply, see Web site for details and restrictions.
Note that the eBay.com Announcement Board says the promotion will not apply to listings on eBay Canada, but the page describing the promotion says it does apply to eBay Canada sellers (http://pages.ebay.com/promo/pennygift). The Canadian Announcement Board says nothing of the promotion. Canadian sellers should investigate further.
