eBay is introducing a new Community Hub and upgraded eBay discussion boards. The Community forums, which include the discussion boards, chat boards, Answer Center, and eBay Groups, will be unavailable from noon to midnight on Wednesday.

A preview of the new Community Hub can be seen online:
http://pages.ebay.com/community/preview/index1.html

Main areas on the new Community Hub page are Feedback (with a link to the Feedback Forum); Connect (with links to Discussion Boards, Groups, Answer Center and Chat Rooms); News (with the top headlines from eBay's Announcement Board, Calendar of Events, the Chatter Newsletter and Member Spotlight); Education (with links to Workshops, Mentoring Groups, Help Center and Learning Center); My eBay At A Glance (with links to Feedback Reminders, My Watched Discussions and My Groups); and Marketplace Safety.

Early this week, eBay will begin making changes to the navigation bar (the header at the top of the page) on some of the Community pages. These changes will be complete on Thursday and will make the Community navigation bar consistent with the rest of the site.

eBay will host an online community workshop on February 15 to discuss the changes.
