ChannelAdvisor Forms Marketing Alliance with Overstock Auctions

ChannelAdvisor customers will now be able to post auction items to the Overstock Auctions marketplace through its channel-management software, the two companies announced Friday. Overstock Auctions will offer ChannelAdvisor's software to its customers, including a special Overstock.com version of ChannelAdvisor's Professional software.

ChannelAdvisor Corporation provides technology and services that enable retailers and manufactures to sell their products across multiple online channels such as eBay, Amazon.com, Shopping.com and Shopzilla.

Overstock.com is extending ChannelAdvisor customers 60 days of free postings on Overstock Auctions that will end on April 19, 2005. In a similar promotion, ChannelAdvisor will be offering new ChannelAdvisor Professional users 50 free closings per month for 60 days, ending on April 19, 2005.

The two companies said they will continue to work together throughout the year to offer additional special offers to their respective customers.

Overstock.com launched its auction platform last September. ChannelAdvisor is the third auction-management service to make its service compatible with Overstock Auctions. In December, Infopia made its software compatible with Overstock Auctions, and in January, Noble Spirit announced its Meridian software was integrated with Overstock Auctions.
