QuikDrop has authorized Robert Golub to open 20 franchise drop-off stores in Eastern Massachusetts. Although there is no information about when the first of these stores will open, four new QuikDrop locations have recently opened in Lewisville, TX; Englewood, NJ; Reno, NV; and Williamsburg, VA. http://www.quikdrop.com

The State of Tennessee passed a law allowing schools to sell surplus items at online auctions rather than at lower interest public auctions. Since the law passed, Athens City Schools have found success using local consignment company, NuMarkets. Dr. Rigell, Director of Education for Athens City Schools, stated, "Internet auctions create a much larger number of potential buyers.
