eBay Completes Acquisition of Rent.com
eBay completed its previously announced acquisition of Rent.com, a leading Internet listing website in the apartment and rental housing industry. eBay announced the acquisition on December 16, 2004. In accordance with the terms of the amended acquisition agreement as announced on February 7, 2005, eBay acquired Rent.com for approximately $415 million in cash plus acquisition costs, net of Rent.com's cash on hand.
eBay Launches New Home Page
eBay said it has launched a new version of the eBay home page "that provides buyers with more direct access to category search and to key areas of My eBay."

eBay UK Launches Groups
