AERS Inc. has announced that it has released a set of new user-requested features for its Terapeak service for eBay users. Terapeak is an eBay certified solutions provider and was one of the first companies to participate in eBay's data licensing program.
Terapeak allows users to analyze eBay market data. New features added to the Terapeak site are designed to make research results easier to save, add more depth to searches and make results more intuitive to understand. Terapeak also added five new tutorials for users, each one detailing how to perform some specific tasks using Terapeak.
New features added in March include:
a new graphing technology;
a new "Save Report" feature for exporting data into Excel spreadsheets;
the ability to get more historic data when using the Keyword Search feature;
a new filtering tool for fine-tuning searches;
an ability to compare categories;
and a "Top 5 Summary" tool for summarizing results for the top five sellers in a category.
Terepeak recently created a new group on eBay's site called the eBay Research Community where users can network with other eBay Market Researchers http://groups.ebay.com/forum.jspa?forumID=100012997. On March 10, it held a workshop on eBay to show sellers how to find good items to sell on eBay. "Using eBay Market Data to Discover New Product Ideas" is archived on the eBay site at http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=410484323.
