eBay is trying to make it clearer for buyers and sellers to take appropriate actions once a listing has ended. It will be rolling out some changes in the next few days, according to a post on its Announcement Board. Buyers will be able to see relevant cross-promoted items as well as clarifying available actions on the item page. Buyers will see calls to action such as "Request Total," "Mark Payment as Sent," "View Seller's Other Items." eBay provided an example of the new closed item page (http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/help/cig/cigAfter.gif) and a current closed item page (http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/help/cig/cigBefore.gif).

eBay said when a member takes an action on one page, it will automatically be reflected on all other relevant pages on eBay, such as the item page, Bid History, My eBay, Checkout, etc. And links will now display only if the action is available for the transaction. In My eBay, the menu of actions next to most items will be display a yellow bubble. Details of the changes are outlined on eBay's Announcement Board.
