eBay announced open registration for its fourth annual Developers Conference to be held June 21-22, 2005, at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. Preceding eBay Live 2005, the event brings together members of eBay and PayPal developer communities to learn new ways to spur business growth and innovation by tapping into the eBay and PayPal platforms.

This year's conference is themed "The Power of All of Us." Keynote speakers at the developer's conference include Jeff Jodan, President of PayPal; Greg Isaacs, Director of eBay Developers Program; and Lynn Reedy, Senior Vice President, Product, Development, and Architecture eBay Inc.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to presentations by eBay and PayPal executives, special guest speakers and fellow eBay and PayPal Developers Program members. The conference will include in-depth technical and business sessions, hands-on labs and demos, and opportunities to exchange information and ideas with fellow innovators. Additionally, eBay and PayPal will announce the winners of the Star Developer Awards.

Developers new to the eBay and PayPal platforms can attend the Pre-Conference Workshop on Monday, June 20, for an introduction to eBay and PayPal application development and an overview of the eBay Web Services architecture. The Pre-Conference Workshop will provide new developers with hands-on experience using API code in a sample end-to-end application.

Registration for the eBay Developers Conference includes access to keynote speeches, networking events, five different technical tracks, and admission to eBay Live 2005 (June 23-25) and the eBay's 10th Anniversary celebration. The standard conference fees are $395 for the general attendee package and $545 for the bonus package, which includes the Pre-Conference Workshop. Developer attendees who register before April 30th will receive a $100 discount on general registration and a $120 discount on the bonus registration. At the door, registration prices will be $445 and $645 for the general and bonus packages, respectively.
