eBay Makes Member Matches Optional

eBay recently changed its "Find a Member" feature to include close matches to help users find the member they were looking for if they did not know the correct spelling of a seller's User ID.

Many members complained about the feature, so eBay is adding an "opt-in" box so users can choose whether to be shown close matches or not.

All users will be opted in initially and must uncheck the box if they no longer want to see close matches. eBay said once unchecked, the box will remain unchecked every time use Items by Seller is used.
