Auction-management and ecommerce services provider Vendio announced record financial performance for 2004 and a record first quarter 2005. The company, well known for its solutions for eBay sellers, has also launched a web hosting service.

Vendio's 2004 record financial performance includes GAAP Net income increase of 525 percent and 40,000 new subscriptions for paid services. Vendio attributes its financial health to the launch of innovative new services, the continued improvement of existing services, and a dramatic rise in new customers and subscriptions.

The company's new web hosting service, Vendioweb.com (http://www.vendioweb.com), is designed to offer merchants their own space on the web to market their brand and products. The Personal Plan includes 2 GB storage, 40 GB Transfer, 250 email accounts and a Web control panel and costs $7.95/month. The Business Plan includes 4 GB storage, 100 GB transfer, unlimited email accounts, a web control panel, and ecommerce components for fees starting at $17.95/month.

In addition, Vendio said its Gallery service for eBay sellers will soon be available internationally. Vendio said Gallery sellers have experienced twice the listing traffic, 50 percent more bidding activity, and an 18 percent increase in conversions.
