eBay UK has been testing feedback filtering for the last 3 months. The company is closing the experiment and will evaluate the results.
The new feature allowed members in the UK to filter Feedback by type (positive, neutral, negative). eBay summed up the controversial topic in its announcement: "Many members have said that the ability to filter by different feedback types will help them make better trading decisions. Others feel that seeing feedback within context is important and that viewing only negative comments could unfairly obscure all of the positive comments received during the same time."
Members can send feedback about the new feature to feedbackdesign@ebay.com.
