Paid Integrates Shipping Calculator with Overstock Auctions

Paid Inc. has integrated its shipping calculator with Overstock Auctions and hopes to broaden the appeal of its collectibles to Overstock's home-decorating shoppers.

eBay Platinum PowerSeller Rotman Auction, owned by Paid Inc., has begun offering auctions on Overstock Auctions. Rotman Auction is using Paid's new integrated Overstock.com Auctions listing tool with Paid's patent-pending shipping rate engine.

As part of a pilot program, Rotman Auction will launch a new format and package for selling movie posters on Overstock Auctions designed to capitalize on the resurgence in retro/vintage home decor as well as appeal to traditional collectors of Hollywood memorabilia.

"Our strategy is to reach out to a totally new audience and introduce them to the world of collecting while appealing to their sense of personal style," said Greg Rotman, CEO of Paid, Inc. "Overstock.com Auctions provides the perfect venue for reaching new customers with an upscale product line since one of Overstock.com's major specialties is home decor and art. An added bonus is that there is far less saturation of the movie poster and collectibles market space on Overstock.com Auctions compared to other auction venues."

Paid continues to proactively improve and add new products to the Paid shipping engine and AuctionInc platforms based on the changing needs of the ecommerce and online auction marketplace. With Overstock.com Auctions' emergence as a major player in the industry, Paid's ability to interface effectively with Overstock Auctions is an important step in solidifying Paid's position in the online-auction space.
