Online classifieds site LiveDeal, founded by one of the original eBay engineers, issued a press release pitching itself as the perfect place to go Mother's Day shopping. LiveDeal has over 200,000 items with a total listed value of more than $1 billion in a range of categories including jewelry, collectibles, furniture, appliances, home decor and more. Shoppers enter their zip code and LiveDeal displays items for sale locally first, then nationally.
