PayPal received the People's Voice Award for Best Financial Services site given as part of the Ninth Annual Webby Awards. The Webby People's Voice Award was selected by more then 200,000 users that cast their ballots for their own personal favorite sites among nominees in 60 categories. PayPal was selected as a nominee by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, from sites based in all 50 U.S. states and more than 40 countries.
"We are especially thrilled to win the People's Voice Award, since we were chosen by the most important judges - the people that use PayPal every day," said Dana Stalder, vice president of marketing and business operations for PayPal. PayPal will be honored at the Webby Awards event in New York City on June 6 at Gotham Hall.
