Marketworks Adds Support for Overstock Auctions

Marketworks, a leading provider of online sales-management solutions, announced support for Overstock Auctions. Marketworks provides technology and services that enable online businesses to sell to hundreds of millions of shoppers across multiple channels from a single solution. Rather than managing separate systems and inventories for each channel, Marketworks customers can centralize and automate sales and fulfillment processes.

Chief Marketing Officer Paul Lundy said support for Overstock Auctions is available to all of Marketworks 4,000-plus customers. Since the soft launch of the new capability, over 125 customers have launched over 26,000 items to Overstock Auctions. As part of the launch, Marketworks customers will receive a 60-day subscription for free insertions on Overstock for up to 1,000 active listings.

"Overstock is the next step in our evolution as a multi-channel e-commerce provider," explained Lundy. "If businesses want to succeed online, it is imperative that they capitalize on all major online venues. Our business is about simplifying that goal."

In addition to Overstock.com Auctions, Marketworks enables merchants to sell and market on eBay, Yahoo Shopping, Yahoo Auctions, Google, Froogle, Shopping.com, numerous search engines, as well as the merchant's own online storefront.
