Reading AuctionBytes: PBS Course to Feature eBay Expert Marsha Collier

Public television stations throughout the country will air "Passions and Profits: Your Own Business On-Line," a course featuring eBay University lecturer and PowerSeller Marsha Collier. The program is a full course on conceiving a business, finding products or services to sell, finding the best sites for your products, and the legal, operational, and tax issues related to being a successful online business owner.

Marsha Collier is a successful eBay PowerSeller and author of the three best-selling reference books on the market: eBay For Dummies, 4th Edition; Starting an eBay Business For Dummies, 2nd edition; and the eBay Business Desk Reference For Dummies.

According to the production company, the program will discuss selling on sites like eBay and "bidville.com; ubid.com; auctionfire.com; CQOut.com; Bidz.com; thriftybidder.com; webidz.com; ebid.tv; auctions.yahoo.com, overstock.com." The program will be taped in front of a live San Francisco audience.

Passions and Profits is being produced by Steven Haft and Santa Fe Productions and is offered through the Public Broadcasting Service to its 340 member stations nationwide in March 2006. Viewers can check their local public television schedule for specific air dates and times.
