eBay's Jay Monahan will join in-house counsel from Google, Yahoo, Cisco and Apple along with experts from Stanford Law School and leading Silicon Valley law firms to discuss emerging trends in ecommerce law. Monahan is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Litigation & Intellectual Property at eBay. Conference speakers will discuss best practices to follow when the law is unclear or requirements are contradictory.

The second annual 1-day conference, "Stanford E-commerce Best Practices: How to Deal with the Uncertainties of Online Business," takes place at Stanford Law School in Stanford, California, on June 3, 2005. The conference is being hosted by the Stanford Program in Law, Science & Technology (LST), its Center for E-commerce, and the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsels (ACC).
