Online classifieds site Oodle announced the availability of beta versions of its service in greater Boston (boston.oodle.com) and greater Los Angeles (la.oodle.com). Oodle is a free, online service that provides timely access to all the classified listings in a local area, including jobs, housing, services, cars and other items.
The beta version of the Oodle service, while not yet complete, finds over 100,000 new listings each week from a variety of sources including local newspapers (Boston Globe and Boston Herald in Boston, Los Angeles Times and the San Gabriel Valley Tribune in LA), and online publishers such as Craigslist, Cars.com and eBay.
Oodle launched its beta service in Chicago, Dallas and Philadelphia in March, and in Miami in April.
