AuctionWagon Creates World's First Craigslist Drop-off Stores
By Company-Issued Press Release

June 24, 2005

AuctionWagon the world's first independent eBay consignment store and pioneering developer of eBay consignment systems, announced today at the eBay Live! 2005 convention in San Jose that it is launching a new feature for its Store Manager G2 product line that will allow its software customers and affiliate locations to list items on Craigslist in their local area.

The first and only company to provide professional Craigslist sales tools and services, AuctionWagon will empower individuals who view the Craigslist selling process as either inconvenient or unsafe. Fielding questions from hundreds of potential buyers and uncertainty about meeting with strangers are common concerns that prevent sellers from using the immensely popular classifieds site.

Drop-off locations, facing steadily increasing eBay fees, are eager to find alternative sales venues for their customers. Selling through Craigslist will reduce costs by avoiding eBay selling fees, and reducing the typical customer's one-month wait for a check by about one-half.

"The integration of Craigslist into our Store Manager line," said Joshua MacAdam, president of AuctionWagon, "allows our customers to tap into a market that was previously ignored by the exploding eBay consignment industry. This is a great way for folks to get paid sooner and not have to let stangers into their homes."

eBay consignment is a rapidly growing industry, with estimates showing that drop-off stores represented over 1.2% of eBay's total worldwide merchandise sales in 2004, after just over one year of the industry's existence.
