eBay posted an announcement on its boards stating it was saddened by the news of the London bombings, and warning users the tragedy might affect their trading partners. "If you are currently in a trading relationship with a buyer or seller in the London area, be aware that their ability to process despatches or payments may be impaired. Please give your trading partners the benefit of the doubt. If you have any concerns about a purchase or sale, your best first option is to communicate with your buyer or seller before resorting to negative Feedback."
eBay also pointed users to a statement from the Royal Mail warning of disruptions in mail delivery service, explaining that at least 25% of the UK's mail moves through London, even if its end destination is elsewhere. It will be providing updates at http://www.royalmail.com over the next few days.
