AlwaysOn Network has chosen LiveDeal, an online classifieds site founded by a former eBay executive, to present at the CEO Pitch @ Stanford program during the AO2005: Innovation Summit. AlwaysOn will spotlight a select number of private company CEOs to pitch their business plan and go-to-market strategy to a panel of peers and an audience of corporate development officers, investors, and members of the press.
"The CEO Pitch is an open forum where companies can unveil their go-to-market strategies," said Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn. "Following in the tradition of AlwaysOn, companies are able to obtain unique insights from leading industry insiders, meet their peers and partners, and gain the attention of the venture and press communities."
"The opportunity for the company that does online classifieds best is enormous," observed Rajesh Navar, founder and CEO of LiveDeal. "The response to LiveDeal from consumers across the United States has been extremely enthusiastic to date, with more than $1 billion worth of goods listed for sale on the site, and we've just scratched the surface. I'm looking forward to presenting the LiveDeal market opportunity and next-level strategy to the AlwaysOn attendees."
The CEO Pitch @ Stanford consists of private companies at all stages of development, from early to late stage. The AO2005: Innovation Summit will run from July 19 - 21 at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, California.
