The Go Daddy Group has integrated its Quick Shopping Cart hosting service with eBay and Froogle. Sellers who use Quick Shopping Cart to run their ecommerce websites can now seamlessly launch inventory to eBay and Froogle.
According to the announcement, Quick Shopping Cart users setting up eBay auctions establish the "duration" of the auction and the opening bid price. Go Daddy then transmits the information to eBay via API feeds (http://digbig.com/4eayc). The user's eBay auction is "live" after eBay updates its backend, usually every 30 minutes. In addition, all eBay auction customization features can be accomplished in Quick Shopping Cart, such as adding pictures, setting up different payment options, modifying fonts, etc. Users can also view their eBay auction at any time within the Quick Shopping Cart management interface, and edit or stop their auction at any point in time.
Sellers can also launch inventory listings to Froogle's shopping search engine. Quick Shopping Cart features include product promotion options, multiple built-in payment options and integrated shipping services with rate cards for companies such as UPS and the USPS, robust inventory control, order management capabilities, customer and merchant order notifications and comprehensive reporting.
Quick Shopping Cart is offered through three different tiers-Economy, Deluxe and Premium, with prices starting for as low as $9.95/month.
eBay recently launched its own ecommerce hosting service called ProStores that is integrated with the eBay.com auction site.
