ChannelAdvisor has added support for the Spanish and Italian eBay markets to its Merchant self-service marketplace management software. ChannelAdvisor Merchant is designed to give top SMB Merchants (small- and medium-sized businesses) an automated way to manage and grow their sales globally on eBay and other marketplaces. The new functionality includes translation of the complete post-sale experiences in Spanish and Italian including checkout, default email templates and invoices.
ChannelAdvisor Merchant now supports eBay sites in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the U.S. It supports four languages including Spanish, Italian, German and French, as well as localized English versions to account for differences in United Kingdom, Australia and the U.S.
"We are seeing cross-border trade work its way up our customer priority list very rapidly - especially European-based sellers, but even a fair amount of demand from North American based sellers," said Scot Wingo, President and CEO of ChannelAdvisor. "Based on tremendous customer demand we plan on continuing to increase the number of countries where our clients can conduct cross-border trade."
Wingo said HP's European operations wants to sell in the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Francois Tairraz, Program Manager of Hewlett Packard Remarketing Europe, said "We are already selling refurbished products on eBay Spain and France via ChannelAdvisor Merchant and look forward to doing the same in Italy in the near future."
ChannelAdvisor is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, with offices in Seattle, United Kingdom and Germany.
