Fulfillment House Leaves Online Sellers in the Lurch

iFulfill.com sent customers an email on Monday telling them they would cease fulfilling orders on their behalf, and would be preparing their remaining stock for pickup. Sun Kim, an eBay seller (Tekgems) who had been using iFulfill.com to send his inventory to customers said, "Luckily, I have duplicate product I can ship here and only have a handful of product I need to purchase again from the manufacturers. But I know some vendors depend solely on iFulfill."

By Wednesday, the owner's blog answered the question everyone wanted an answer to: what happened? "In a nutshell: rapid growth and undercapitalization. In other words, not enough money to grow as fast as we did." Owner Paul Purdue promised to use the blog to keep clients posted on developments.
