eBay announced that all current Featured Store sellers and Basic Store sellers who upgrade to a Featured Store by August 31, 2005, will be eligible to receive 50 percent off their subscription fee for the entire month of September. The discount will appear on invoices by October 15, 2005. Store sellers who upgrade during the month of September will receive the 50% discount for the remaining days in the month.

eBay offers three levels of Stores (http://pages.ebay.com/help/specialtysites/store-subscription-levels.html) - Basic ($15.05/month), Featured ($49.95/month) and Anchor ($499.95).

eBay is also promoting its online postage service with a "Try It Now Sale." For users who have never used eBay's Online Postage Service, they will receive one dollar if they try it between August 2 - 6.

eBay charges no fees for members who use the service to print U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail or Express Mail labels, though postage costs still apply. Auction-style and fixed-price listings where eBay's Online Postage Service is used will be eligible for this offer on eBay.com and eBay Motors - non-vehicle listings only. Members must first register for the promotion on eBay's site. eBay will post the one-dollar credit to sellers' account by late September 2005. See website for details and restrictions.
