Pugster Celebrates 1 Million Feedbacks on eBay with $10,000 in Prizes

Pugster Inc., which operates on eBay using the ID Pugster888, is preparing to give away a trip to Hawaii and other prizes to celebrate an eBay feedback milestone. Pugster has been selling fashion jewelry on eBay and other marketplaces since 2002. Cecelia Song, General Manager of Pugster, says she expects Pugster to reach 1 million positive feedback points next month.

eBay uses a feedback system to allow users to rate their trading partners. eBay displays the unique feedback number next to member User IDs. By clicking on that number, visitors are brought to a page that displays the total number of members that left a positive feedback point, the total number of members that left a negative feedback point, and the total number of positive feedback ratings left in total, including users who engaged in multiple transactions with the user.

In Pugster's case, 128,552 unique eBay users had left 982,841 positive feedback ratings, giving it a high repeat-customer ratio. (A total of 443 users had left negative feedback over the past 4 years.)

Song said that Pugster will be giving away 51 prizes with a value totaling over $10,000. The user who leaves the 1 millionth positive overall feedback will receive the grand prize of a 4-night, 5-day trip to the Island of Maui in Hawaii. Accommodations for two at the Ritz-Carlton and two roundtrip coach airfares on Hawaiian Airlines from the major airport closest to the winner’s home will be provided.

The next 50 unique eBay users to leave feedback after 1 million will receive gift certificates in varying denominations from the Pottery Barn, Bloomingdales, Dell, Sharper Image, Discovery Channel Store), The Gap, or Pugster, and each of those 50 users will also receive a selection of Pugster Italian charms, including exclusive licensed It’s Happy Bunny charms.
