LiveDeal, an online local classifieds site, has relocated to a new, larger headquarters facility in Santa Clara, California. The 7,295 square-foot headquarters on Walsh Avenue will accommodate the company's continued rapid expansion and additional personnel requirements.
LiveDeal said it has recently been hiring across a number of critical functions, including engineering, product management and marketing. "One of the keys to our success has been the outstanding team LiveDeal has assembled - people with experience building some of the most successful online brands in the world," said Rajesh Navar, CEO of LiveDeal. "As the company continues to grow, the need to identify the most talented individuals will only become more of a priority."
More than one million unique users are visiting LiveDeal each month, with a total value of listed merchandise on the site topping $1 billion. Revenues are up 10 times over 2004 levels, according to the company.
