JLO by Jennifer Lopez is auctioning off two VIP tickets to the opening of Lopez's first U.S. Marshall Field's boutique, along with samples from her first Sweetface fashion show. The 7-day auction benefiting the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles started August 25 and ends on September 1 at Overstock Auctions.
Lopez is launching her first JLO boutique in the United States at Marshall Field's Chicago store on September 22, 2005. The VIP tickets up for auction cover entry into the soiree and premiere seating at the store's fashion show. Lopez's fashion company will also provide $1,000 toward travel accommodations.
Winning bidders will be invited to join Lopez's personal auction network on Overstock and will also receive a personal email from her congratulating them on their purchase.
"Jennifer Lopez is one of the most recognizable celebrities on the planet," said Holly MacDonald-Korth, senior vice president at Overstock.com. "She has millions of fans, and we expect a lot of them will jump at the chance to go to her VIP party or to own one of her first designs. It will be the ultimate experience for fans and fashion lovers."
