Mpire Corporation announced the public availability of its auction-management software for eBay sellers. The company consulted hundreds of eBay sellers in designing the service.
Dave Cotter, president and CEO of Mpire, said, "We heard about the countless hours spent jumping from one product to another and wasted dollars paying for features never used. Mpire's services eliminate those hassles by providing a complete solution and at an affordable flat monthly rate."
Cotter said four things set Mpire apart: the consignment and CRM features, the financial component, and integration with Google Maps. The map feature allows sellers to click on Mpire's Display Map button to see where they've shipped, anywhere in the world.
Mpire Builder costs $14.95 per month and Mpire Professional costs $49.95 per month, with no transaction fees. Mpire offers Image Management through its Image Editor and free picture-hosting for up to 250 MB for Builder and 500 MB for Professional. Mpire supports multiple browsers and the Windows and Macintosh operating systems. A free 30-day trial is available.
Mpire was founded in 2004 and is backed by Ignition Partners and former eBay executive Richard Rock.
