Yard Sale Drop Off (YSDO) has received approval from eBay for their version 1 Commerce Management Suite (CMS) which enables eBay users to add and monitor auctions from anywhere with an internet connection. The software is designed to be more friendly and user-intuitive than eBay’s listing process. YSDO hosts pictures in listings and offer this at a much lower cost than eBay’s Picture Services. They project an official launch sometime this month.

In other news, the drop-off store department of YSDO has attempted to increase the number of bids and final selling price by offering free shipping on all items. This will be paid for by the seller of the item, so it remains to be seen if this will deter possible consignees from using YSDO services.

Their new website www.snapnsold.com is not yet active, but they are offering consignment services through http://www.ezauctionsandshipping.com, the website of recently acquired EZ Auctions.
