Getaways for Gulf Aid online auction is auctioning off Florida vacations on eBay. The program was created by Visit Florida, the state's official source for travel planning, in conjunction with the Florida tourism industry. People can bid on a variety of Florida vacations on eBay. One hundred percent of the auction proceeds will go directly to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Florida vacation packages include family reunions, golf vacations, spa retreats, romantic escapes and more, with bids starting at $75. Sets of roundtrip airline tickets are also offered starting at $25, which includes destinations in the U.S. that are serviced by participating airlines. Donations are tax-deductible.
